In this class you’ll learn new and innovative ways to cook with tofu. While tofu is commonplace in stir-fries, there are so many other exciting ways it can be used to create incredible dishes. We’ll teach you delicious recipes that will elevate how you make dishes with this wonderfully versatile ingredient. You’ll also learn how to make your very own tofu from scratch! This class is ideal for anyone who already knows the basics of cooking with tofu, and wants to take it to the next level.
Recipes you are likely to make include:
Homemade tofu
Tofu tikka kebabs
Suya spiced kale and mushroom tofu omelette
Silken Chocolate pie
Polenta Crusted Tofu with panzanella salad and balsamic roasted shallots
Above recipes are subject to availability of ingredients.
You’ll be able to make the recipes you learn on this class at home, time and time again. After your cookery experience, you will be emailed a pack for you to keep containing all of the recipes you learned on the day.
What to expect…
Lots of food: Firstly, you can expect to eat a lot of delicious food! It will come as no surprise that there will be lots made, so you will be nibbling and tasting throughout your cookery experience. (Don’t worry about bringing anything to eat with you!)
A relaxed, hands-on experience, suitable for all abilities: Our cookery experiences will help you hone your skills in a fun and friendly atmosphere. You’ll dive right in with hands-on practical cookery sessions. This will include working in pairs, groups and individually under the expert guidance of our experienced tutor. We welcome students of all abilities, so whatever your current skill level, you’ll fit right in. And you don’t have to be veggie to enjoy our courses – everyone’s welcome!
The chance to ask tons of questions: Attendee numbers are kept small so you’ll have maximum contact with your tutor. There will be plenty of opportunities throughout the day to ask any questions you may have and take advantage of their years of experience in all things veggie and vegan!

I thought I hated tofu but not now. I attended the course because I was new to using it and I didn’t like it. Alex, the fabulous tutor, taught the class recipes for foods using tofu that I loved. Tofu bacon, kebabs, omelette, tofu fish, chocolate cake. He taught us how to make tofu from soya milk. I loved the course and I now love tofu. I expected to leave the day thinking I tried it and I definetly dont like tofu but I was surprised at how much I do like it. My daughter hated it but has really enjoyed the recipes I cooked from the course at home. I recommend this course.
