A fun activity for kids of all ages
If you’re looking for a fun activity your kids will love, look no further! Our Children’s Cookery Adventure is here to get taste buds tingling and minds a-whizzing as we show them how to whip up some delicious treats. Taught by our expert tutors, this class is suitable for children (aged 6-14 years) who want to learn how to make tasty food and have a giggle too! They’ll discover how to follow a recipe, make tasty meals from scratch and experiment with brand new flavours; all while having loads of fun.
This action-packed day teaches kids how to make delicious recipes. They’ll enjoy food-themed activities throughout the day too, including a mini foraging walk in the grounds of the Vegetarian Society Cookery School – so, don’t forget to pack those wellies!
Our professional team is DBS-checked so you can head off into Manchester for a coffee and enjoy your day while your kids are in safe hands.
What should I wear/bring?
✔ Comfortable clothes, as well as a coat and shoes for outdoor activities.
X No need to bring any food. Lunch, refreshments, aprons and ingredients are all included.
Cookery themed activities
Learn how to use knives safely by chopping crudité (children’s safety knives used for younger students)
Crudités and creamy sweet potato houmus

We have lots of free car parking available on site. If you’re getting here by public transport, we are only a short taxi ride or a 20 minute walk from Altrincham bus station/train station/Metrolink (Altrincham line). Photography of students will not be permitted on the day unless we have expressed permission from parents/guardians.
