The mini booklets, full of Vegetarian Society members’ lunchbox ideas, were recently gifted to 100 children at the Eco-Schools Awards.

Parents and carers across the UK responded to our request for their best veggie lunchbox ideas.  From all of the brilliant suggestions received the ‘five days of veggie lunchboxes’ mini booklet was created for parents, children and schools.

The awards ceremony celebrates schools and students taking part in the Eco-Schools scheme who have gone above and beyond to make improvements to their school for the environment. One thing the scheme encourages students to do is to eat more sustainably.

The mini booklets will continue to be used by Eco-Schools in their teacher training courses throughout the year, helping your brilliant ideas to inspire even more schools to embrace plant-based lunchtimes.
