Get active, have fun and raise funds so we can continue getting emergency food boxes into food banks!
Thousands of people across the country are doing the 2.6 challenge this Sunday, 26 April, and you can join them! The cancellation of the London Marathon on Sunday has led to a new, nationwide fundraising activity. Across the UK, instead of running 26 miles, people are supporting their favourite charities by joining in with the 2.6 challenge.
The 2.6 challenge can be anything that works for you. You can run or walk 2.6 miles, do a 26 minute online exercise class, or get 26 people on a video call and do 26 star jumps! All that matters is that you are having fun, getting active and raising what you can.
By taking part, you will be raising funds for the Vegetarian Society’s Emergency Food Bank Appeal, providing food to the huge numbers of people turning to food banks that currently need our help.
These challenges can be done in your home, garden, or during your daily exercise.
