Linda McCartney’s Hoisin Duck Meal Kit
Licensed to display the Vegetarian Society Approved vegan trademark
If you’ve been vegetarian or vegan for a long time you’ve probably eaten your own body weight in Linda McCartney sausages by now, but you might not have given this Hoisin Duck Meal kit a try… The mock duck is very realistic in flavour and texture and the hoisin sauce is lovely and sweet! Once you’ve put it together with the sauce, thin slices of cucumber and spring onion and put it inside the pancakes you won’t be able to tell the difference. These make a great starter to a Chinese feast, or a Saturday night snack with a beer.

Oumph! – Kebab Spiced
Licensed to display the Vegetarian Society Approved vegan trademark
Swedish-based ‘Oumph!’ are another relatively new player in the meat-free game. Their products have a very realistic meat-like texture. Their ‘plain chunk’, as the name suggests, has no seasoning, so works with almost any sauce, making it a great swap for meat. We’ve picked their Kebab variety though as we think the seasoning and texture is spot on! Try it in a wrap with crunchy salad, pickled cabbage, hummus, vegan garlic yogurt and hot sauce.
