Easy Vegan Favourites (Part One) is an online class, featuring delicious vegan dishes demonstrated by experts from the Vegetarian Society Cookery School.
Forming part of the Vegetarian Society charity, our cookery school is the home of vegetarian and vegan cooking – taking advantage of over 150 years of expertise in vegetarian food.
Our tutors have a wealth of experience in teaching and, nutrition. Our online class gives you the opportunity to tap into their knowledge from the comfort of your own home and learn how to whip up classic, easy dishes.
What you’ll learn
The class features a series of videos, featuring how to create delicious dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. From crispy tofu bacon to delicious Buddha bowls, our expert take on these classic dishes will have you counting down the hours to meal times!
Tutors Sam and Fiona use their years of experience to help you discover techniques for getting the best flavours out of your ingredients and develop skills that will improve your cooking on a day-to-day basis. The class also features additional content to watch and download, including knife skills, recipe sheets and vegan nutrition and healthy eating guides.
By buying this class, you will also be supporting the charitable work of the Vegetarian Society. From providing free cookery classes for young carers, to our recent food bank appeal –sales from this class makes projects like these possible.
Meet our Easy Vegan Favourites Tutors

Sam
Life-long vegetarian, now vegan, Sam is Head of the Vegetarian Society Cookery School. She has a wealth of experience, having worked in the catering industry for more than 15 years.
Originally from Liverpool, with a mixed European heritage, she has experimented with many different flavours and dishes throughout her career. She frequently leads cookery events at the school and across the country to teach people how to make fantastic vegetarian and vegan food.

Fiona
Fiona has been vegetarian for nearly 30 years and vegan for the past year. She has been a student on many of the Vegetarian Society Cookery School’s classes before successfully completing the Professional Chefs’ Diploma in Vegetarian and Vegan Cooking in October 2017.
As a mother to two young children, Fiona enjoys using seasonal produce, that help her family glow from the inside and out!

Maz has a passion for fantastic flavours! She teaches on a wide range of classes at the Vegetarian Society Cookery School, including World Street Food and The Thai and Viet Veggie.
She has worked in the catering industry for more than 30 years and the vast majority of her teaching has been vegetarian.
How it works
Easy Vegan Favourites (Part 1) is hosted on Kajabi, an online learning platform. After purchasing, you will be given a login to access the class content at your convenience. You will have six months’ access to the video content, allowing you to work through the lessons at your own pace – whether that’s learning one a week or mastering them all in the space of a few days!
