We have a wide range of recipes in our collection and we’re looking for people to try them out as part of our new Tried and Tested scheme. We want you to test the recipes to make sure they are easy to follow and turn out great, so they can get the Tried and Tested stamp. Your contribution will help encourage more people to try them and eat veggie food – and we can’t do it without you!
No cookery qualifications are required, but useful skills include:
- Being familiar and confident cooking at home
- Having a good eye for detail
- Being able to follow recipes methodically
- Possessing basic kitchen equipment and having the confidence to use it
We will regularly send you a selection of links to recipes, both new and old, from our recipe collection for you to cook at home. We will give you a Testers Feedback Guide that you can complete and return to us with your feedback on things like whether you made this recipe from the instructions given or were there problems? Did it look like the photo? Would you recommend this recipe to someone?
Tried and Tested is also a fun way to try a lot of different recipes and ingredients, as well as having a delicious meal to eat every night.
You can do as many or as few recipes as you like, so if one appeals to you don’t hesitate to give it a go! And if you don’t have time, don’t worry, you can join in again whenever you’re ready.
If you’d like to get involved, simply complete the form below, and get cooking!
The recipe tester scheme is currently on hold, but you can still register for future updates.
If you have any questions or problems regarding recipe testing, please contact steven@vegsoc.org for further information.
